Visuals – Visual Peace of Art Which Will Never Be Forgotten

The best images I have ever created using Photoshop and GIMP.

The GNU Image Manipulation Program logo

Previous website author have created a number of images over the years with various tools such as Graphic Converter, Photoshop, and, more recently, The Gimp. I don’t claim to have any real artistic ability, but I think some of my stuff isn’t bad.

Between his most famous images I would like to mention these:

  • Physics Humor
  • Signatures
  • Civil Disobedience
  • Intarweb
  • Miscellaneous

Most of them are created using the Gimp which stands for The GNU Image Manipulation Program, which is the most famous free alternative for Adobe Photoshop and other image retouching and editing tools. It works on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux and is freely available even for commercial use. I have used this for years but I still love Photoshop because it runs smoother and it has more filters and brush tools as well as tutorials available online. The Gimp is great for starters and those who have never used Photoshop but want to edit and retouch images.

Photographs I have capture lately

I don’t consider myself a good photographer and I don’t have professional equipment but I do like to take a lot of photos. Most of pictures you will find on this website are captured using the Nikon D90. The Nikon D90 is a great camera for pros and can be used to take photos just for fun because it is not that expensive in comparison to its bigger brothers – D4.

Over the time I will try to create a gallery for all my images at the same time using some special light box but I don’t have enough time to do it right now. Ok, I am lazy but I love to do the things that make me happy or richer.

Movies and videos I have created

I used to capture and edit a lot but I did before it went mainstream. Now everyone has Full HD cameras in their pockets and everyone can create high quality videos and share them on YouTube, Vimeo and elsewhere.  Due to high popularity for it I just lost interest.

I don’t think that this video and image boom will last forever and it will lose its popularity over the time because nothing is here forever. Quantity doesn’t mean quality so most of the videos and movies will be forgotten and only the best ones will remain in our minds forever but I haven’t created any such movie yet.

These are the things I do related to visual materials but don’t forget that we are now all about education and English vocabulary. We will keep you updated about news in education and most importantly about changes in Sadlier Oxford vocabulary workshop.
